What's New with GrandView

The New Project Summary Page

Viewing project information just got a little more enjoyable. Click on a project link from the Dashboard or SideBar to see the new Project Summary page. The first thing you may notice is that the project drop down list is at the top of the page. You may also notice that the page loads pretty quickly. Anyone who has a lot of projects in their list knows well the associated wait every time that you clicked on a project tab. With the project list at one level higher, the wait is minimized. But wait, there's more about that project list. You can now filter it by typing in multiple characters to go directly to the project that you want. No more one character typing and scrolling for your project. This was probably the number one all time support request in GrandView. But we didn't stop there. Only the project tabs that you have permission to view are loaded. Additionally, all the tabs now load up initially which means that the second level tabs are remembered so you do not have to wait for the default tab to load before selecting the tab that you want. To top things off, the Project Summary page now opens up in a non-modal window or tab which allows you to complete other tasks in GrandView and perform simple browser functions such as highlighting and copying data, right-clicking, printing, etc.
